Yesterday was a very eventful day. I turned twenty (half way to forty!) and had a bit of a party to celebrate. Getting ready for the night was fairly simple, I had just had a hair cut so I had less to tame and had a shave earlier in the day which would have eaten up time if I had done it in the evening.

To wash my face I used a cleansing foam mousse by Shisiedo Men which feels almost like a soap because when you massage it into your face it becomes a lather. It is great for cleaning out all those pores. However for me it tends to dry out my skin, so a moisturiser is a must. I bought some more moisturiser by L'Oreal yesterday which is the 'Holiday Look' one which gives you a slight tan. It does really work and last time I bought it it worked a little too well because I kept putting it on! Big Mistake. I started to look a bit tangotastic. So this time I used it sparingly.

Once I was washed and moisturised I moved onto my hair. I used the GHD sculpting wax which is good for giving definition and it tends to last longer than a lot of other waxes. It is on the pricey side, I paid £12.95 for my tub, but it does last for quite a while.

Before leaving the house I sprayed myself with 10 by D&G which apparently is a unisex scent which I think is quite earthy but still quite sweet and stays on really well.
